dc.description.abstractAbtract. The second record of Hygromia cinctella in Ukraine is described, which is also the first record of this species in its western part. The snails were found in March 2023 in Uzhhorod, Transcarpathian region. Live specimens, their shells, and distal genitalia are shown. Possible sources for the H. cinctella population at the studied site are discussed.en
