Функціонування суфіксальних іллокутивів у мовленнєвих актах різних прагматичних типів

Abstract

Резюме. Метою цієї статгі є проаналізувати функціонування суфіксальних похідних дієслів англійської мови у різних ілокугивних класах.

Abstract. The article is devoted to the investigation of suffixal illocutionary verbs in speech acts of different pragmatic types. The verbs are analyzed taking into account the suffix they are formed with, the word-building meaning of the derivative and the pragmatic type they belong to. The author tries to find out the relation between the word-building and the illocutionary class of the derivative. We came to the conclusion that the illocutionary force of the dcrivative verb is greatly influenced by the meaning the word acquires in the context, while the word-building meaning and all the pragmatic components of the word take effect in the illocutionary classes containing implicative speech acts.
