Авторські тури як перспективний різновид і важливий чинник розбудови внутрішнього туризму в Україні

Abstract

Резюме. Статтю присвячено розгляду авторських турів, які можуть стати вагомим чинником розбудови внутрішнього туризму в країні. Мета дослідження: розгляд вітчизняного досвіду організації таких турів та визначення їх ефективності для розвитку внутрішнього туризму. Використано методи спостереження, накопичування фактів та їх аналізу, опис факторів і явищ, систематизація і узагальнення інформації. В статті зроблено ретроспективний аналіз появи авторських турів як результату переорієнтації масового конвеєрного туризму на вузькоспеціалізований, визначено їх специфічні характеристики як окремого підвиду спеціалізованого нішевого туризму, зокрема такі як окреслене коло споживачів, об’єднаних спільним бажанням отримання незвичних вражень та взаємним спілкуванням, багатоаспектність цілей, унікальні програм.

Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of niche tourism, specifically author's tours, which are currently a popular yet understudied form of tourism. At the same time, author's tours have the potential to become a significant factor in the development of domestic tourism in Ukraine. The purpose of this study is to examine domestic experiences in organizing such tours and to assess their effectiveness in fostering the growth of Ukraine’s tourism industry. In addressing this issue, the authors employed methods such as observation, fact accumulation and analysis, description of factors and phenomena, as well as systematization and generalization of information. The article provides a retrospective analysis of the emergence of author's tours as a result of the shift from mass conveyor tourism to highly specialized tourism. It also identifies the specific characteristics of author's tours as a distinct subset of specialized niche tourism, including a clearly defined target audience united by a shared desire for unique experiences and mutual interaction, multifaceted goals, and exclusive tour programs. It has been established that author's tours facilitate the integration of lesser-known regions and locations of Ukraine into active tourism development, contribute to the expansion of domestic travel geography, utilize local resources and infrastructure, and, consequently, support the sale of local products, stimulate small businesses, generate additional revenue for local community budgets, and engage a broader segment of the population in meaningful recreational activities. The article summarizes the experiences of representatives from public organizations, regional tourism management structures, and individual tourism market stakeholders in Ukraine. It provides practical examples of the creation and implementation of author's tours, thoroughly analyzes the principles of their organization, and examines the distinctive features of their program offerings. Given the potential for incorporating the development and execution of such tours into practical training sessions in professional disciplines at higher education institutions in Ukraine, the study suggests applying the method of designing author's tour projects. This approach is illustrated through the experience of the Department of Special Tourism Disciplines at the Academy of Labor, Social Relations, and Tourism. The article highlights the need for further research and systematization of best practices in developing author's tours as a promising avenue for advancing domestic tourism in Ukraine.
