Функції українського хорового мистецтва: історичний аспект

Abstract

Резюме. У статті розглядається питання функцій українського хорового мистецтва в історичному контексті. Здійснено систематизацію функцій з орієнтацією на їхню роль у історичному аспекті. Вирізнено наступні функції українського хорового мистецтва: комунікативну, соціальну, виховну, духовну, сугестивну, естетичну, соціалізуючу, пізнавальну, компенсаторну, гедоністичну, функцію передбачення.

Abstract. The article considers the issue of the functions of Ukrainian choral art in a historical context. The topical issues of the influence of the functions of choral art on the cultural development of society, the revival of national traditions, and the upbringing of the younger generation oriented towards universal human values are raised. It is stated that in the context of the history of art, choral singing is a unique phenomenon that encompasses the entire spectrum of philosophical, religious, aesthetic, and ethical views of society that characterize the worldview of the Ukrainian people in a particular historical period. It is determined that choral art is one of the oldest and richest areas of Ukrainian spiritual culture of society throughout a vast historical period. The functions of choral art are the result of a unique creative process based on the principle of artistic interpretation of the activities of both the entire people and an individual. The functions have been systematized with an orientation to their role in the historical aspect. The following functions of Ukrainian choral art have been distinguished: communicative, social, educational, spiritual, suggestive, aesthetic, socializing, cognitive, compensatory, hedonistic, and predictive functions. The historical and culturological approach allowed us to trace the dynamics of Ukrainian choral art, to determine the understanding of the general patterns of development of its functions and their role in the life of modern society.
